Very exciting. Maybe not our biggest sale ever, but right up there. Had to be rescheduled from last week, and now all systems are GO!
The beautiful REHOBOTH BEACH COUNTRY CLUB.
Recommend you pull it up online. Truly a fabulous spot, right on the water.
The Club is NOT being demolished, but it is undergoing a giant renovation. Everything is clean, quality, and looking for a new home. While there may be 1,000 items or more for sale, we are hoping to find that new home for everything, in just 2 days.
LOCKERS - not what you are envisioning. You CANNOT buy a more good-looking product. Solid oak, raised panel doors, Some are 6 feet high, others are 3 feet high EACH with one on top of another (two tier). If you Google "Lockers" you will find these same lockers for $350.00 EACH. Because we have more than 400 to sell, in just the 2 days, they're $80 each. See our pictures on the website.
PIANO - in doing sales for 32 years, we have never had a more exciting instrument. YAMAHA grand, disk lavier. Ebony polish. Do you have anyone on your list who has been very, very good this year? See pictures. Will be priced to sell.
Interior - Truck loads of couches, club chairs, lounge chairs, leather chairs, bar stools, dining room chairs, locker room benches, etc.
Tables -- coffee, end, sofa, card, some metal, gold frames, glass top, round, etc.
Many lamps, large and small mirrors, some in large oak frames.
The large bar and back bar, numerous bar refrigeration units, stainless steel sinks, hostess stand, framed art work, trophy case, fireplace mantel, classy tall and average height draperies and rods, slat window blinds, baby stations.
Numerous kinds of quality interior doors, miles of suspended ceilings and various large rooms of well cared for wall-to-wall carpeting.
Lots of clean, real quality bath and shower rooms. Toilets and urinals, most with electric eye flush valves. Showers, vanities with granite tops, quality sink bowls and faucet sets. Grab bars.
Exterior - shrubbery, electric retractable awnings (like new), diving board, large wood decking, cobblestones (belgian block), PVC white fencing, serious filter system, heavy duty pumps, pool chemicals.

The Club reserves the right to remove or add items as needed.

On the first day of the sale, Club members (who in fact, already own everything) can enter the building only one hour before the 10:00am public start time, to consider possible purchases.

The 2 pictures of the "South Bend" 8-burner gas stove and the kitchen prep table area, will be for sale at a second sale at the Club, probably mid November. If seriously interested, ask to see it while at this sale.
SALE DATES - This Monday, October 28th, 10am to 4pm, and This Tuesday, October 29th, 10am till everything is sold.
No young children allowed on the property during the sale. We know you would not want them there anyway.
Bring your friends, tools, and measurements, and maybe a truck!
DIRECTIONS -- Best to go to the Club's website. Found their directions to be perfect -- find them by clicking here! Or enter the Country Club into your GPS. We were coming from Philadelphia. Took I-95 South. WATCH for Delaware's Route 1. Take Delaware Route 1 down and then follow Club directions.
NEVER BEEN TO OUR SALES?
When you see something to buy, simply turn the price tag over and right on the back, "SOLD" and your number that you received when signing in upon entry. Now, it is YOURS. Leave the tag with the item. When you are finished look, go to the front table, pay, and get a receipt. Now, with receipt, and your purchases in hand, you can head for the exit, as your purchases head for their new home. And any problems, our folks (wearing STAFF shirts) will be glad to help. Attempting to remove tags or items without a paid receipt is a big No No.
PAYMENT ACCEPTED? Cash only, maybe checks with very good ID. No credit card.
