-- Except there is no demolition here --
This Friday, December 6th, 9AM sharp to 4PM
This Saturday, December 7th, 9AM to 4PM
And This Sunday, December 8th, 10AM to 2PM
If you know the well-kept and historic area of North Wayne in Radnor Township, then you already have a feel for this sale. A big 3-story, 7-bedroom home in the same family for about 100 years. This is not our usual type of sale, but after going through it, the bug bit us. Very exciting!
Victorian, Queen Ann, East Lake, Jacobin, Mid Century, Shabby Chic, white wicker, it has it all. The house is crowded. Silver, stained glass, jewelry, vintage Christmas, weather vanes, bedroom furnishings, loads of linens, an unusual small vintage sewing machine by Wilcox & Gibbs in carrying case. Lots of ephemera. While there are lots of interesting finds from the big old attic, the one that moved into first place was the very large folder that held numerous large old "Buy War Bonds" posters. We had experience at a sale, probably 20 years ago, when we learned that they are very sought after.
From Lancaster Avenue (Route 30), come into the busy intersection (traffic light) of North Wayne Avenue, in Wayne, PA. You are now 2 minutes from the sale. Turn onto NORTH Wayne Avenue, and you will go under a railroad bridge. 2 streets up is Walnut. Turn right. 2 blocks up and look for our directional signs.
Blocking folks driveways? The very efficient Radnor Police will probably return your car after you pay the towing and ticket at the impound lot, if they're still open. Easy solution -- don't block driveways please.
Look forward to seeing you tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday.
