This 3-story house was built in 1853. Lots of very old things, and other things are close to brand new. Four original marble fireplaces. Lots of original, thick, wide flooring. A unique marble topped counter with a copper sink. Original large solid wood interior doors, including a great pair of doors. Some stained glass. Fabulous, curving main staircase. Numerous old cabinets and shelf units. A serious kiln and some kiln molds. Numerous radiators.
Saved from the old church -- a few very old pews, altar chairs (in need of some repair), individual kneelers, small organ with bench, old wood altar railings.
An almost brand new gas kitchen stove. Washer & dryer. Kitchen cabinets, counter tops, and sink. Couch. Various tables, office desks, and chairs. A 2-year old boiler and 2 "state-of-the-art" oil storage tanks. Newer water heater.
Hard-to-find, flagstone (blue stone), VERY large pieces. A large covered walkway, built of pressure treated lumber, from the Church over to the Parish House. Would be a great start for a big new deck. Some shrubbery.
A few surprises found in the basement -- 3 large folk art-type Eagles, wood, full size. Two very large oversized Halloween heads. Some Christmas decorations. Still sorting through.
Bayonne is at Exit 14A of the New Jersey Turnpike. Going through the tolls, stay STRAIGHT onto Avenue E. Follow Ave. E straight through Bayonne (about 5 minutes) to Broadway. Turn left. The Church is just up ahead on the right.
Look for our directional signs that will go up about 15 minutes before the sale is due to begin.
We are looking for a great pair of iron driveway gates, and some marble garden statues, or benches.
