First, thanks to everybody who attended our GIANT sale in Merion. Fantastic turnout. We recycled truckloads. One of our biggest sales ever. We will get out some pictures to you in the very near future. A herculean effort on the part of many. We are currently trying to get the fabulous old cupola with weathervane down on the ground, with some cost effective method. More later.
BACK TO NORTH ITHAN DRIVE IN VILLANOVA...
We recently held a "house" sale here at this lovely home (no demolition here), and while a lot of items found new homes, we didn't find a home for everything. IN the mean time, the family moved into their NEW home, and started to unload the storage lockers. Lots of things have been added (coming from those lockers) to our second sale there this weekend. If things are still there on Sunday, prices will be reduced. Otherwise, we have to haul it to auction.
--A highlight is a quality, classic Dining Room set by "Ethan Allen". Table, 2 arm chairs, 4 chairs, 2 leaves, and a beautiful breakfront (see the pictures).
--Also, a second dining room set.
--12-Piece place settings of antique China.
--Electric stair climber. Perfect condition. VERY easy to install.
--3 different styles of armoires.
--Leather couches and chair.
--Modern (mid-century) furniture and lounge chairs.
--2 styles of bar stools.
--Bedroom furniture including canopy bed.
--Quality treadmill with incline feature.
--Office equipment, many kitchen items, TV's, wall hangings, basement finds.
--Room full of real quality ladies' clothes, handbags, shoes, etc.
--10 leaded glass windows from the Merion job.
We will be there this Saturday, January 7th, 9AM till 3PM, and this Sunday, January 8th, 9AM till 3PM (hopefully sitting in an empty house!).

-- Two Buddha statues. $5,000 each. Extremely heavy.
-- Two refrigerators. Great condition. Little used. 1) Kenmore -- white; top and bottom; reversible doors; $200. 2) Maytag -- black; side by side; ice maker; $500. Located in Berwyn. Anxious to move. Should sell quickly.
-- We have a job coming up that is loaded with radiators.
-- Note that we have added the measurements of the large metal prefab building/barn that we have for sale on the website.
AND NOW, YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST... (drumroll please...) -- we are opening up a store, with an accent on Architectural Antique items (our first love) and almost anything else that will help pay the rent. Details to follow!
