| What is a Pre-Demolition Sale?
The sales are simply an opportunity for you to buy miscellaneous parts of buildings/homes that are about to be demolished. Think of it as a recycling effort. Is it all junk? Absolutely not. We don't handle sales where we don't envision turning a profit.
Four examples of sales in the past:
1. We liquidated the entire Waynesboro Country Club on Route 252 in Paoli. Barstools, bars, tables, chairs, kitchens, lockers, chandeliers, carpets, skylights, awnings, loads of toilets, vanities, showers, urinals, and so much more. Like most of our larger sales, it started on Saturday, finished on Sunday, and the entire building was on the ground by the end of that week.
2. Merion Square Road in Gladwyne. Fabulous old Main Line house. Updated giant kitchen and 5.5 baths. Library. "Pella" windows and sliding glass doors. Sconces, track lighting, hi hats. Lots of interior doors and trim. Mantels. Whirlpool tubs. "Corian". Toilets. Window treatments. Carpeting. Random width flooring. Heat and A.C. units. Water heaters. Alarm system. Circuit breakers. Laundry tubs. Garage doors. Shutters, flagstone, bricks, cobblestones, loose stone garden walls, small iron gates, garden urns, lots of shrubbery and plantings, etc.
3. Route 202 in Lower Gwynedd Township. Seven year old house purchased by PennDOT for highway widening. 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. 2 story colonial. Everything was clean and nice.
4. A synagogue in Allentown that took up an entire city block.
